LAS VEGAS, NV (The Spread) – Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao appear to be as close as ever to agreeing to a future bout. What are the latest odds for this potential mega-bout.

These two recently talked face-to-face while at a Miami Heat game and the world went into a tizzy at the idea of them possibly fighting. Reports surfaced that a bout agreement was imminent, with TMZ even stating that it had been agreed upon. However, Mayweather Jr. has stated that the two sides are still far apart on an agreement.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, if the two were to fight, Mayweather Jr. would be the clear favorite to win, as he has a money line of -300 to prevail. Pacquiao is given odds of +230 to win the bout.
Mayweather has 26 KO’s in his career with 21 decision victories. His last five fights have been decided by the judges, with two of the fights only being a majority decision. He suffered a knockdown at the hands of Shane Mosley back in 2010, but hasn’t been beaten up since. Pacquiao is 57-5-2 in his career, having won his last three fights have dropping two straight fights. He has won two decisions in 2014. If the two are going to fight, it almost seems like now or never.
