Snedeker wins Pebble Beach Pro-Am
PEBBLE BEACH, CA (TheSpread) – Brandt Snedeker put together a strong Sunday and ended up winning the 2015 PGA Pebble Beach National Pro-Am by three strokes.
Snedeker posted his third consecutive 67 on Sunday to get to -22 for the tournament, which was three shots better than playing partner Nick Watney, who finished alone in second at -19. Watney shot a 3-under 69 on Sunday.
According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Snedeker had 22/1 odds to win this week’s tournament, which means a wager of $100 on him to prevail will pay out an additional $2,200.
Jim Furyk held a 1-shot lead entering the final round, but he shot a 2-over 74 on Sunday to finish at -16 for the tournament, which put him in a tie for seventh place. Charlie Beljan finished at -18 for the tournament and in third place while Dustin Johnson and Jason Day finished tied for fourth at -17 overall.
