Blazers vs. Grizzlies Game 1 Odds
MEMPHIS, TN (TheSpread) – The Memphis Grizzlies and Portland Trail Blazers begin their anticipated NBA Playoff series tonight at 8PM ET with Game 1. Here is a look at the odds for the contest.
Memphis is 55-27 on the season, 31-10 at home and 40-40 against the spread. Portland is 51-31 overall, 19-22 on the road and 40-41 against the spread. These two met four times during the season, with Memphis winning and covering the spread in all four meetings. The Grizzlies have now won nine of their last 10 against Portland, going 8-2 against the spread in those 10 games. These two have hit the over in four of their last six meetings.
According to oddsmakers at online sports book GT Bets, the Grizzlies are the slight favorite in Game 1, as Memphis is getting odds of -5 points against the Blazers. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 188.5 points.
Portland has been struggling coming into the playoffs, as the Blazers have lost four straight and five of their last six, going 1-5 against the spread in all six games. Portland has also hit the over in three of its last four. Memphis comes into today’s game having won just one of its last three, but the Grizzlies have covered the spread in three straight and they have hit the under in eight of their last 10.
