The Cleveland Cavaliers get back into action tonight when they host the Atlanta Hawks at 7PM ET in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Cleveland is favored at home tonight, as the Cavaliers are getting odds of -7.5 points against the Hawks. The over/under total for the contest is currently listed at 200.5 points.
Cleveland is now 61-25 on the season, 35-8 at home and 39-44-3 against the spread. Atlanta is 52-36 overall, 22-22 on the road and 45-42-1 against the spread. The Cavaliers are the top seed in the East and swept the Pistons in the first round while the Hawks are the No. 4 seed and beat the Boston Celtics in six games.

These two met three times during the season and the Cavaliers are able to win and cover in all three meetings. Cleveland has now won seven straight over the Hawks, going 6-1 ATS in those seven games. Cleveland has had a week off and been able to rest up, which is what it will need to maintain a high level of play throughout the playoffs. Atlanta has had a few days off as well, but the Hawks take a big step up in competition from Boston in this series. With Game 1 in Cleveland, Atlanta is likely to get overwhelmed by the Cavs’ fresh legs.
