Bulls vs. Cavaliers Game 1 Odds
CLEVELAND, OH (TheSpread) – The Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers begin their anticipated NBA Playoff series tonight when Game 1 takes place at 7PM ET.
Cleveland is 57-29 on the season, 33-10 at home and 42-44 against the spread. Chicago is 54-34 on the season, 25-19 on the road and 43-45 against the spread. These two met four times during the regular season, with Cleveland winning three of the four encounters. The Cavaliers were the lone team to get a road win in the four games. The two split the spread, with each team covering twice, and both teams hitting the over and under two times.
According to oddsmakers at online sports book Bovada.lv, the Cavaliers are favored to win tonight’s series opener, as Cleveland is getting odds of -4.5 points against the Bulls. The over/under total for the game has been set at 194 points.
Cleveland is coming off an impressive four-game sweep of the Boston Celtics in the first round, but the sweep didn’t come without a price. The Cavs lost forward Kevin Love for the playoffs with a shoulder injury and guard J.R. Smith is suspended for the first two games in this series for throwing a punch in Game 4. The Cavs covered the spread in three of their four games against Boston while hitting the under in three of the four games. Chicago needed six games to get rid of the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round despite taking a 3-0 series lead to start. The Bulls were 4-2 against the spread in the series while hitting the under in four of the six games.
