OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) – Golden State star Stephen Curry says he has no lingering effects from his frightening fall and is ready to play Game 5 of the Western Conference finals.
Curry said he was coherent and ”ready to go” after the Warriors held their morning shootaround Wednesday in preparation for a potential clincher against the Rockets. Golden State leads the series 3-1.
The MVP got hurt in the second quarter Monday when he jumped as Trevor Ariza was about to go up for a shot. Ariza saw him and stopped abruptly, causing the spill. Curry’s head and right arm hit the court, where he remained for several minutes. He returned in the second half after passing the concussion protocol. He was diagnosed with a head contusion.
