MADISON, Wis. (AP) – The Wisconsin Badgers are back at practice and hungry to make another run to the Final Four.
The team’s biggest question is replacing sharpshooting guard Ben Brust, who was a senior last season.
Coach Bo Ryan could turn to forward Nigel Hayes, the Big Ten’s Sixth Man of the Year, or quick point guard Bronson Koenig.
Either way, Wisconsin is loaded with talent. The players who accounted for 82 percent of the scoring last season are returning.
Jump-shooting big man Frank Kaminsky is the conference preseason player of the year. Athletic forward Sam Dekker and guards Traevon Jackson and Josh Gasser are the other returning starters.
Ryan also is seeking his first Division I national championship in his 43 years of coaching.
