Kiffin leaving Alabama for the NFL?
TUSCALOOSA, AL (TheSpread) – Alabama seemed to have an improved offense last season, but will the Crimson Tide be without the offensive coordinator that helped them put up the numbers?
ESPN is reporting that Alabama OC Lane Kiffin has emerged as a front-runner for the OC position with the San Francisco 49ers. Kiffin stated last month that he wasn’t going to be leaving Alabama, but he has been known to jump around and could have interest in returning to the NFL after a failed run with the Oakland Raiders in 2008.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Alabama currently has 9/1 odds to win the 2016 College Football Playoffs. The Crimson Tide have the third-shortest odds of any team, with Ohio State the current favorites at 5/1.
