Harbaugh adding to staff
ANN ARBOR, MI (TheSpread) – Jim Harbaugh is quickly putting together his staff at Michigan, recently adding his son, Jay Harbaugh, to the group.
Harbaugh hired his son as the Tight Ends and Assistant Special Teams Coach. He has already added the likes of D.J. Durkin as Defensive Coordinator and Tim Dervno as Offensive Coordinator. Tyron Wheatley is also returning to the school as its running backs coach. Harbaugh did also elect to retain Greg Mattison, but as the defensive line coach.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Michigan currently has 33/1 odds to win next season’s college football playoffs. Ohio State is the current favorite to win the title with 5/1 odds while Alabama has 15/2 odds.

The Wolverines last won a national title in 1997 and last claimed a Big Ten title in 2004. Michigan is coming off a 5-7 season in 2014 where it went just 3-5 in the Big Ten in Brady Hoke’s fourth year. Harbaugh has a 58-27 record in his college career, last coaching at Stanford in 2010 where he went 12-1. His first two seasons at Stanford saw him go 9-15.
