NFC North Division Odds to Win
LAS VEGAS, NV (The Spread) – The Packers are the clear favorites to repeat as NFC North Division champions for the 2015-16 NFL season.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Packers are 1/3 favorites to win the NFC North while the Lions have the next best odds at 9/2 and the Vikings are 9/1. The Bears, in somewhat of a surprise, are the long shots to win the division at 12/1 odds.
The Packers had a busy offseason, re-signing defensive tackle B.J. Raji and Letroy Guion, as well as receiver Randall Cobb and offensive tackle Bryan Bulaga. They also selected more safety help in the form of Damarious Randall in the first round of the draft, and nabbed defensive back Quinten Rollins in the second.
The Lions will once again have plenty of offensive firepower but they lost a huge piece in the middle of their defensive like when Ndamukong Suh signed with the Dolphins as a free agency.
The Vikings are still dealing with some turmoil due to Adrian Peterson, although it looks for now that he will be with the club when the team opens its season. Minnesota is viewed as a team on the rise and if AP can settle his differences with the front office, he and Teddy Bridgewater make a solid pair.
The Bears, meanwhile, have a new head coach in John Fox and new coordinators in Vic Fangio and Adam Gase. Their defense is still a massive work in progress and their offense will once again center on the abilities of Jay Cutler, who continues to play with maddening inconsistency.
2015 NFC North Division Odds
Green Bay Packers 1/3
Detroit Lions 9/2
Minnesota Vikings 9/1
Chicago Bears 12/1
