ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) – A day after arriving in Detroit, the Buffalo Bills took the practice field Saturday afternoon to prepare for a Monday night matchup with the New York Jets.
Originally scheduled to play Sunday in Buffalo, the Bills were forced to relocate after a rare November storm dumped more than five feet of snow in the Buffalo area this week. Buffalo practiced at the Lions’ headquarters for the first time Friday night, just hours after landing in Detroit.
Fighting for their playoff lives, the Bills (5-5) are in dire need of a win over the struggling Jets (2-8), who had lost six straight before a stunning victory in Pittsburgh Nov. 9.
Monday will mark a return trip to Ford Field for Buffalo defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz, who was fired in December after five seasons as head coach in Detroit.
Bills running back Fred Jackson (groin) is listed as questionable for Monday’s game.
