Blackhawks the favorite in the West
LAS VEGAS, NV (TheSpread) – The NHL has hit its All-Star Break and there are plenty of strong contenders in the Eastern Conference. Here is a look at the updated odds to win the East.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Chicago Blackhawks are favored to win the West, as they are getting odds of 11/4 to do so. Other short odds to win are the Anaheim Ducks (3/1), the St. Louis Blues (5/1) and the Nashville Predators (15/2).
Chicago has 62 points on the season with a 30-15-2 record, which puts them tied for second in the Central Division and tied for third in the West. The Blackhawks have a NHL-best +40 goal differential.
Anaheim has the best record in the entire NHL at 31-10-6 overall with 68 points. The Ducks have a 12-point lead in the Pacific Division and have a goal differential of +15.
St. Louis is second in the Central Division with 62 points and a 29-13-4 record. The Blues are tied with the Blackhawks for the third-best record in the West. St. Louis has a goal differential of +37.
Nashville leads the Central Division with 65 points and a record of 30-10-5. The Predators are just three points behind the Ducks for the top record in the West. Nashville has a goal differential of +33.
