Rangers vs. Penguins Gm 3 Odds
PITTSBURGH, PA (TheSpread) – The Pittsburgh Penguins look to take a surprising 2-1 lead in its series with the New York Rangers when they meet in Game 3 tonight at 7PM ET.
The Rangers are 54-23-7 on the season and 28-11-2 on the road while the Penguins are 44-28-12 on the season and 23-14-4 at home. The Penguins were able to pick up a 4-3 win in Game 2 to even the series at 1-1, but the Rangers have won four of their last six meetings with Pittsburgh, all taking place this season. These two have hit the over in three of their last four meetings as well.
According to online sports book GT Bets, New York is the favorite on the road, as the Rangers are getting odds of -120 to win, while the Penguins are given odds of +100 to prevail. The over/under total for the game has been set at 5 goals.
The Penguins got the 4-3 win over the Rangers on Saturday to even the series thanks to a three-goal second period. Sidney Crosby scored two goals in the win while Chris Kunitz had a goal and two assists to lead Pittsburgh. Derek Stepan led New York’s effort with one goal and one assist.
