Lightning vs. Red Wings Odds
DETROIT, MI (TheSpread) – The Detroit Red Wings look to complete their upset of the Tampa Bay Lightning in the first round of the playoffs when the two meet in Game 6 tonight at 7PM ET.
Detroit is 46-25-15 on the season and 23-10-10 at home. Tampa Bay is 52-27-8 overall and 19-17-7 on the road. Detroit picked up a 4-0 win in Tampa to take a 3-2 lead in the series. The road team has won three of the five games in this series and the two have pushed or hit the under in six of their last seven meetings.
According to the latest oddsmakers, Tampa Bay is the slight favorite on the road, as the Lightning are getting odds of -110 to win, while the Red Wings have odds of +100 at home. The over/under total for the game has been set at 5 goals.
After having a horrible letdown to end Game 4, the Red Wings bounced back in a big way in Game 5, dominating the Lightning for a 4-0 victory. Petr Mrazek recorded his second shutout of the series, making 28 saves to lead Detroit while four different Wings recorded a goal. Pavel Datsyuk had one of the goals while Jonathan Ericsson had two assists.
