American Sniper Prop Bets & Odds
LAS VEGAS, NV (The Spread) – The 2015 film “American Sniper” is up for several awards at this year’s Oscars and here’s a couple of prop bets for bettors to consider.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, “American Sniper” is a 50/1 long shot to win the Oscar for Best Picture while Bradley Cooper is 33/1 to win Best Actor for his role in the film. For comparison, “Boyhood” is a clear favorite to win Best Picture at 1/14 odds while Michael Keaton is the fave to win Best Actor at 4/5.
Will “American Sniper” gross one billion by March 1? The odds are +170 for and -250 against. The movie is also 20/1 to be the highest grossing film of all time and has -250 odds to win an Oscar at the 2015 Academy Awards. “American Sniper” is also +170 to come home empty at this year’s Oscars, which will air on ABC February 22 at 7:00PM ET.
“American Sniper” is a film about Navy SEAL sniper Chris Kyle, who is regarded as the deadliest sniper in American military history. The film stars Cooper, Sienna Miller and Kyle Gallner, and was directed by Clint Eastwood.
