Will Amon-Ra St. Brown find the end zone once again for the Lions? Does Tony Pollard offer bettors good value when it comes to today’s touchdown props? Read on for our NFL Week 16 Anytime Touchdown Predictions.

NFL Week 15 Anytime Touchdown Recap

My anytime touchdown recommendations for Week 15 were Ja’Marr Chase (-135), Lamar Jackson (+195) and Amon-Ra St. Brown (+100). While Chase caught a whopping nine passes for 94 yards, he didn’t catch any of Joe Burrow’s three touchdown passes. St. Brown also had a mammoth game for the Lions, hauling in 14 receptions for 193 yards and a touchdown. That said, Lamar threw for five touchdown passes, but didn’t run one in, so I went 1-2 with my recommendations.

NFL Week 16 Anytime Touchdown Prediction: Darnell Mooney (+200), Falcons, WR

Mooney has had an otherwise excellent season for the Falcons, but he was held off the stat sheet on Monday night in Las Vegas. Part of that is because Kirk Cousins fell apart over the past month. He never had much mobility dating back to his days at Michigan State, but Cousins has been frozen in the pocket of late. The Falcons clearly stopped trusting him too, because he didn’t throw much on Monday against a Maxx Crosby-less Raiders team.

Things change with rookie Michael Penix Jr. taking over under center for Atlanta. Penix has a big arm and as he showed at Indiana and Washington, he’s not afraid to take deep shots. The Falcons desperately need the return of the vertical passing game to their offense and they should get it with Penix. Mooney is the team’s best deep threat and I’m willing to bet that he’ll benefit the most with Penix taking over.

NFL Week 16 Anytime Touchdown Prediction: Amon-Ra St. Brown (+100), Lions, WR

As long as oddsmakers keep giving us plus odds with St. Brown, I’ll take him to find the end zone. He’s already surpassed the 1,000-yard and 10-touchdown mark this season. As previously mentioned, he’s also coming off a game in which he caught 14 of 18 targets for 193 yards and a touchdown. St. Brown leads the Lions with 25.7% of the targets and 2.57 yards per route run against Cover 3, which is the coverage Chicago primarily runs. While the Bears have done a solid job against lead receivers, St. Brown remains the focal point of Detroit’s passing game.

NFL Week 16 Anytime Touchdown Prediction: Tony Pollard (+135), Titans, RB

This is a good price on Tennessee’s top offensive weapon. I know that’s not saying much, but if the Titans can move the ball against an Indianapolis team that might be deflated coming off the loss last week in Denver, then Pollard will see plenty of opportunities inside the 10-yard line. He’s the only reliable Tennessee offensive play and ranks within the top-10 among running backs in terms of yards. Pollard also has five touchdowns on the season.
