Change Is Good The Atlanta Thrashers have been a much better team since making a coaching change. Their play at home against the Florida Panthers has never been a problem regardless of who’s been behind the bench. The Thrashers seek their 11th consecutive home win over the Panthers on Tuesday night when the Southeast Division rivals meet for the second time in five days.
Seattle Heavy Home Favs The Seattle Seahawks will look to rebound from a disappointing loss last week at Cleveland tonight when they take on the (2-6) San Francisco 49ers.
Looking for Four Straight Andrei Kirilenko’s clashes with Utah Jazz coach Jerry Sloan have been well-documented. Power Players The Carolina Hurricanes rarely have trouble taking advantage of power-play chances, especially on the road. The Florida Panthers, though, are one of the few teams that have been able to stop the Southeast Division leaders. The Hurricanes look to avenge one of their two road losses as they continue their season series with the struggling Panthers on Monday night.
NFC West Clash As poorly as the Seattle Seahawks have played of late, they’ve been able to hold onto the top spot in the weak NFC West. The Seahawks look to bounce back from their most recent loss Monday night when they host reeling San Francisco 49ers, who haven’t won in almost two months.
Who Will Bounce Back? After coming up short in one of the most-hyped regular-season games of the last decade, the first-place Indianapolis Colts don’t have much breathing room atop the AFC South. The Colts try to bounce back from their tough loss on Sunday night when they visit the underachieving San Diego Chargers, who are coming off their most humiliating defeat of the season.
What Happened? The Chicago Bears might be the NFL’s most disappointing team this season, but they believe there is still time to turn things around. The reigning NFC champions look to bounce back from a dismal first half as they come off their bye week Sunday to visit the lowly Oakland Raiders, who haven’t won in more than a month.
