With the 2008 British Open Championship just days away now, it’s time to check out prop odds and some of the unusual wagers that bettors will have a chance to throw action on this Thursday July 17, through Sunday July 20.

Oddsmakers from online sports book SBG Global offer some unique prop odds on the 2008 British Open Championship, including which American will produce the lowest round, as well as who will be the top European golfer.
For the Americans, oddsmakers have made Phil Mickelson the favorite at 4/1 odds. Jim Furyk is a close second at 6/1 odds, while Stewart Cink is 7/1. As for the Europeans, it’s not surprise that oddsmakers favor Sergio Garcia at 4/1 considering they also favor him to win the entire event. 2007 British Open Championship winner Padraig Harrington is a 15/2 favorite against his fellow Europeans, while Lee Westwood’s odds have been set at 7/1.
