A.J. Foyt IV Odds
A.J. Foyt IV has racing in his blood and if his family history is any indication, he’ll have a great showing at the 92nd running of the Indianapolis 500. The grandson of four-time Indianapolis 500 champion A.J. Foyt started racing when he was 9 years old and has never looked back.
Despite his raw experience on the track, oddsmakers from Online Sportsbook Bodog have given him rather long odds to win the Indy 500 at 80/1.

Foyt secured the 31st position at the Indy 500 on “Bump Day.” The joy of qualifying was short lived, however, as he crashed his car into the wall on a practice run and had to be taken to the hospital. He was cleared to drive again after examinations at the hospital and sustained no injuries.
The 24-year-old Foyt raced in his first Indy 500 when he was 19, making him the youngest driver to ever start the race. In last year’s Indy 500, he finished 14th, which was his highest placing in four attempts at the prestigious event.
While Foyt’s father had plenty of Indy 500 success and his 14th place finish last year was encouraging, A.J. appears to be a long shot to win in 2008. Oddsmakers have listed Foyt’s odds to win at 80/1, which ranks him among the worst. Only Justin Wilson, Oriol Servia and Will Power have worst odds to win the Indianapolis 500.
