Graham Rahal Odds
If Graham Rahal can follow the success of his father at the Indianapolis 500, he’s going to do just fine May 25 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Graham’s father Bobby won the 1986 Indianapolis 500 and maybe success runs in the family. Oddsmakers from Online Sports Book Bodog have established Graham’s odds at 50/1 to win.
Bet on Graham Rahal in the 2008 Indianapolis 500
Some consider Rahal the best American-born racecar driver since Michael Andretti, which is certainly quite a compliment. Even though he’s only 19, many people remark how mature he is, which is something that will go a long way in whether or not he’ll have a solid career. He will start on the inside of the fifth row this Sunday at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
This will be Rahal’s first ever Indy 500 appearance. He grew up attending races with his father and started his racing career in karting before moving up the formula ranks. In 2007 he finished fifth in the Champ Car World Series standings, with a best finish of second at Houston that year.
Even though this will be his first outing at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, oddsmakers obviously don’t think it’s out of the question for Rahal to have a solid showing as evidence by his 50/1 odds to win. (Ernesto Viso is also making his Indy 500 debut, yet he was given 80/1 odds to win.) Given his talent and potential, it’s tempting to take Rahal to win Sunday, but it might be wiser to take him in driver-to-driver match up wagers.
