Hideki Mutoh Odds
Even though Hideki Mutoh is only in his second year of American open-wheeled racing doesn’t mean he hasn’t been successful. Oddsmakers from Online Sports Book Bodog have listed Mutoh’s odds to win Sunday’s 92nd running of the Indianapolis 500 at 35/1.

With his four-lap average of 223.887 miles per hour, Mutoh qualified for the ninth position at this year’s Indy 500. Mutoh admitted he was nervous after he didn’t qualify during the first timed run, but he settled himself and was able to nab a place in the top 11.
Mutoh is in his rookie season, but he claimed a second-place finish in the Indy Pro Series in 2007 and he’s already claimed to victories. His first win ironically came at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, while the second was on the track at Kentucky Motor Speedway. He also finished eighth in his IndyCar debut at Chicago Motor Speedway in the final race of the season.
Despite being a rookie, Mutoh has enjoyed some success in American open-wheeled racing, making him an attractive pick this Sunday. However, he isn’t familiar with the Indy 500 event with this being his debut, even though he is familiar with the track. He might find some success in driver-to-driver bets depending on whom he’s matched against.
