Oriol Servia Odds
It’s been a while since Oriol Servia has tried to qualify for the Indianapolis 500 and oddsmakers have taken notice. Oddsmakers from Online Sports Book Bodog have made Oriol a long shot to win the 92nd running of the Indy 500, setting his odds to win at 100/1.
Bet on Oriol Servia in the 2008 Indianapolis 500
Servia tried to qualify for the 2002 Indianapolis 500, only to fail after three attempts. After six years with Champ Car, Servia decided to try again to qualify for the Indy 500 and this time he did make the field. When the 92nd running of the event kicks off this Sunday, Servia will start off in the 25th position.
As previously noted, it’s been a while since Servia last visited the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Last year he finished sixth in the Champ Car World Series standings and the year before that he was an 11th place finisher.
Despite making the field for this year’s Indy 500, Servia arguably doesn’t stand much chance for victory. Other than qualifying this year, he hasn’t been on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway since 2002 and his lack of experience against top competition is a major drawback. Servia might not have much value in driver-to-driver wagers either, unless it’s against Will Power, who also has 100/1 odds to win this year’s Indy 500.
