SEC Odds to Win
The SEC is loaded once again this year, from No. 1 ranked Georgia to the Tim Tebow-led Gators to the always-powerful LSU Tigers.
Oddsmakers from online sports book Bodog have made Florida a 3/2 favorite to win the SEC in 2008.

The Favorite: Florida
The Gators will have one of the most balanced offensive attacks in the nation led by 2007 Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow. Percy Harvin returns as Tebow’s best weapon and the defense is once again stacked. Urban Meyer’s team is just two years removed from a national title and might be primed to make a run again this year.
The Value: Georgia
The No. 1 ranked Bulldogs are a small value at 2/1 odds to win. They certainly have enough talent to win the SEC, although the youth on the offensive line is a concern. Quarterback Matthew Stafford and running back Knowshon Moreno are Heisman Trophy candidates and the defense is one of the most athletic in the nation.
The Long Shot Sleeper: Mississippi
Believe it or not, but Ole Miss has a great chance to make some noise this year and are a solid sleeper candidate at 35/1 odds. Houston Nutt has some decent talent, especially at quarterback where the Rebels will feature Jevan Snead, a transfer from Texas. They’re a long shot, but Mississippi is nevertheless could be a value in 2008.
