Who will be in the Final Four?
LAS VEGAS, LV (The Spread) – The NCAA tournament this year has earned the name “March Madness,” and we are now set for the Sweet 16. Let’s take a look at who makes the Final Four from this point.
UVA is my pick coming out of the East Region played in New York. I have UVA taking it all in my bracket, and I can’t turn on ’em at this point. UVA has a tough game coming up vs Michigan State, but once they get past the Spartans, they will have no trouble marching out of the East. UVA’s odds are currently list as 10-1 to win it all.
UCLA has to be my pick coming out of the South Region played in Memphis, TN. UCLA is really playing some good basketball right now, and once they get past Florida should have no trouble getting past either Dayton or Stanford. UCLA is currently listed as 25-1 to win it all, and there could be some value there.
Wisconsin is my pick coming out of the West Region played in Anaheim, CA. Wisconsin, once they get past Baylor will be a team to watch. Arizona hasn’t been tested yet, and San Diego State won’t give em a whole lot of trouble. The Badgers will be tested by the time they get to Arizona, and that will be in their favor. Wisconsin is currently listed as 18-1 to win it all.
The Midwest Region, which played in Indianapolis, is definitely the toughest region to come out of this tournament. I had Louisville going to the final four in my bracket, and I still like their chances here. Louisville being a No. 4 seed puts a little chip on their shoulder. Kentucky can play great at times, but they can also be inconsistent. I see Louisville disrupting the Wildcats, and moving past Tennessee or Michigan. The odds makers agree with that as Louisville is currently listed as 7-2 to win it all, while Kentucky & Michigan are 18-1, with Tennessee listed as 25-1.
