2015 Kentucky Derby Payouts
CHURCHILL DOWNS, KY (The Spread) – The 141st running of the Kentucky Derby is in the books and American Pharoah, the favorite, cashed in for bettors on Saturday evening.
American Pharoah rallied down the stretch to edge out Firing Line and Dortmund in the race to the finish line. Those three contenders dominated the action throughout, with Dortmund losing the lead down the stretch and nearly being beaten out of the money before finishing third. Firing Line held the lead briefly before American Pharoah pulled away in the end.
After being installed as the favorite all week, American Pharoah cashed $7.80 to win, $5.80 to place and $4.20 to show. Firing Line, meanwhile, cashed $8.40 to place and $5.40 to show, while Dortmund cashed $4.20 to show.
A $2.00 exact of 18-10 paid out $72.60 while a $1.00 Trifecta of 18-10-8 paid out $101.00. A $1.00 Superfecta of 18-10-8-15 paid out $634.10.
