Belmont Stakes Morning Odds
It’s the morning of the 2016 Belmont Stakes and Exaggerator remains the clear favorite to win at Belmont Park this evening in the final leg of horse racing’s Triple Crown.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Exaggerator is now 9/5 to win the Belmont Stakes, making him the favorite to claim victory at Belmont Park this evening. Exaggerator is coming off a win in the Preakness Stakes and a runner-up finish in the Kentucky Derby behind Nyquist. In his last seven starts, he’s finished inside the money in each start.
Exaggerator’s because threat, at least according to oddsmakers, is Stradivari at 5/1, although Destin is listed right behind Stradivari at 6/1 odds and Cherry Wine is 8/1. Stradivari finished fourth in the Preakness while Destin skipped the Preakness but finished sixth in the Kentucky Derby. Cherry Wine had an impressive run at Pimlico, edging out Nyquist down the stretch to finish as the runner-up to Exaggerator.
Two horses, Suddenbreakingnews and Creator, are 10/1, respectively, to win the Belmont Stakes, while Governor Malibu, who didn’t run in either the Kentucky Derby nor the Preakness Stakes, is 12/1. Lani and Brody’s Cause are both 20/1, respectively, while Seeking The Soul, Forever D’oro and Trojan Nation are all 30/1 long shots, respectively.
