“The Run for the Roses” is on Saturday, May 7 this year and is scheduled to run at 6:34PM ET. As usual, the race will take place at Churchill Downs and will be the 142nd running of the Kentucky Derby.
What channel can I watch the race on?
The Kentucky Derby will be shown in the United States on the NBC television network. You can also watch the Post Position Draw on Wednesday, May 4 at 5:30PM ET on NBC Sports Network, as well as the Kentucky Oaks 142 on May 6 at 12:30PM ET on the same network. From 12:00 – 4:00PM ET on Saturday, May 7, will be the Kentucky Derby Undercard, which once again can be seen on NBC Sports Network.
