Winter Olympics Medal Table Odds

The 2018 Winter Olympics are set to take place next month. Here is a look at the odds to win the medal table for this year’s event.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, both Germany and the United States are co-favored to win the medal table, as each is getting +225 odds. Norway is listed with +275 odds. The Winter Olympics will take place Feb. 9-25 from South Korea.

The last Winter Olympics took place in Russia in 2014 and the United States came away with the most medals, racking up 28. Norway finished second with 26 and won the most golf, while Germany had 19 medals in total, which finished sixth.

In the 2010 Olympics that took place in Vancouver, The United Stats racked up 37 medals to win the medal table. Germany was second with 30 while Norway finished fourth with 24. Canada had 14 golds, most of any country, and finished with 26 medals overall.

Over the history of the Winter Olympics, no country has won more overall medals and gold medals than Norway. They have 329 total medals with 118 gold medals. The United States is second overall with 282 and 96 gold medals while Germany has won 78 gold medals and a total of 209.
