Which country will come away with the gold medal in Men’s Hockey at the 2018 Winter Olympics? Here’s a look at the odds.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Olympic Athletes from Russia is the favorite for the game, as it is getting odds of +200 to win. Other short odds to win are Canada (+300) and Sweden (+400). The United States is listed with +900 odds to win. The Winter Olympics will take place Feb. 9-25 from South Korea.

Russia has struggled in recent Olympic games, finishing fifth in 2014 and sixth in 2010. They are coming off a third-place finish at the 2017 World Championships and their last World Championship title came in 2014.

Canada has won three of the last four Olympic gold medals in men’s hockey, including the 2014 games in Sochi. The Canadians also won the 2015 and 2016 World Championships. They just finished second at the 2017 World Championships.

Sweden has claimed the gold in men’s hockey twice, last doing so in 2006. They placed second at the 2014 Olympics in Sochi but have finished fifth in three of the last five Olympics. Sweden is coming off winning the 2017 World Championships.

The United States is in a pool with Russia for these games, not making their chances at gold any better. The United States was fourth in the 2014 games while earning silver in 2010 and 2002. Their last gold was the famous 1980 games. They have finished outside the top three in 11 of the last 13 World Championships, including a fifth-place finish in 2017.
