American Idol Season 10 Odds
(The Spread) – Casey Abrams is out and James Durbin is the new favorite – here are your updated odds for American Idol Season 10.
Although he was “saved” on March 24, Casey Abrams had never spent time in the Bottom 3 this season. But Abrams’ fate was sealed on Thursday night when Ryan Seacrest announced his name instead of Scotty McCreery.
Oddsmakers from online sports book Bodog.com have now made Durbin a 5/4 favorite to win this season’s American Idol. Scotty McCreery has the next best odds at 7/4, while Haley Reinhart is 15/2 and Lauren Alaina is 4/1. Jacob Lusk remains a long shot at 30/1.
Out of the remaining five, only Jacob and Haley have spent time in the Bottom 3, so things are about to get real interesting next week. Of course, Scotty has never fallen this far so it’ll be interesting to see if he can rebound next week. Not too many viewers figured early on that he and Jacob would be the favorites at this point, but here we are.
We’ll see if Lauren can stave off elimination for another week. What’s interesting ist hat Alaina was one of the favorites last week along with McCreery, so it’s clear that even oddsmakers are befuddled about how this could end.
American Idol Season 10 Updated Odds
James Durbin 5/4
Scott McCreery 7/4
Lauren Alaina 4/1
Haley Reinharrt 15/2
Jacob Lusk 30/1
