American Pharoah Triple Crown Odds
ELMONT, NY (The Spread) – After winning the first two legs of horse racing’s Triple Crown, American Pharoah will have an opportunity to make history at the Belmont Stakes in a couple of weeks.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, American Pharoah has 10/11 odds to win the Belmont Stakes and thus, the Triple Crown. He would become the first thoroughbred to win the Triple Crown since Affirmed accomplished the feat in 1978. The odds that American Pharoah won’t win the Belmont are currently 10/13.
American Pharoah has won six consecutive races, which includes victories in the Preakness Stakes and Kentucky Derby his last two times out. He also won the Arkansas Derby on April 11 and the Rebel on March 14. While contenders Firing Line (Kentucky Derby) and Tale of Verve (Preakness) have challenged him down the stretch in his last two races, American Pharoah has showed the speed and grit to challenge for the Triple Crown.
The Belmont Stakes will take place June 6, 2015 at Belmont Park in Elmont, New York.
