With Big Brown already being handed the Triple Crown, the Belmont Stakes gives us a great opportunity to find some solid long shots for Saturday’s big race.

Tale of Ekati

After finishing fourth in the Kentucky Derby, this horse has had five weeks off to prepare for the Belmont Stakes. Not amazing on the speed side of the equation, Tale of Ekati does possess the stamina needed to tame the longest track in the

United States. Look for the jockey Eibar Coa to use this stamina to his advantage and wait it out until late in the race before making his move. Can Tale of Ekati remain undefeated on his home course? At 20-1, we hope so.
