Belmont Long Shot Picks
With Big Brown already being handed the Triple Crown, the Belmont Stakes gives us a great opportunity to find some solid long shots for Saturday’s big race.
In reviewing the field and looking at all the angles, our panel of horseracing experts have chosen the following horses as three possible long shots to consider this weekend.
Tale of Ekati
With current odds from online sports book SportsBetting.com at 20-1, this horse has the potential to leave tons of Big Brown bettors who laid the big number very disappointed. Don’t forget, outside of Big Brown he is the only Grade 1 winner in the race. A tactical horse that picked up his first two wins at the very track the Triple Crown will be decided on Saturday.
After finishing fourth in the Kentucky Derby, this horse has had five weeks off to prepare for the Belmont Stakes. Not amazing on the speed side of the equation, Tale of Ekati does possess the stamina needed to tame the longest track in the

Out of the 10th position comes another 20-1 longshot according to oddsmakers at online sports book Bodog. Thanks to the amazing odds on Big Brown (2/5), almost the entire field will have long odds due to the amount of money being poored in on him.
A combination of speed and stamina helped Icabad Crane finish third in the Preakness Stakes. One interesting note is the fact his Beyer Rating has actually increased with longer distance races. The key thing to watch is his closing style which can make the final turn into the home stretch very interesting for race fans on Saturday. Even though we do not feel he can upset Big Brown, or even

Anak Nakai
At a whopping 30-1 payoff potential, our experts love this horse to plug in some exotic wagers. Don’t forget, many horseracing experts felt this horse would possibly put the scare into Big Brown at the Kentucky Derby.
The key to this horse is trainer Nick Zito who has seven Place finishes at the
