Best Actress Odds
HOLLYWOOD, CA (TheSpread) – There are five nominees for Best Actress at the 2011 Oscars, but it appears that only two have a chance to win the award.
Natalie Portman, from the movie Black Swan is the favorite to win according to oddsmakers from online sportsbook Sportsbook.com as she has odds of -1000 to win. Annette Bening of The Kids Are All Right comes in with odds of +300 while the other three nominees are Jennifer Lawrence (+1200), Nicole Kidman (+2000), and Michelle Williams (+3000).
Portman plays a troubled ballet dancer in Black Swan. The role earner her a lot of praise as she took home the SAG Award for Best Actress and the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Drama.
Bening appears to be the only other real candidate to win. She is up for her role in The Kids Are All Right where she played a mother of two children in a lesbian couple where her children discover their biological father. Bening won the 2011 Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical.
The 2011 Academy Awards will take place on Feb. 27 from the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood and will air live on ABC starting at 8:30PM ET. For complete odds for the Best Actress category, see below
