Public Likes Fresno to Roll
This is the finale for both of these clubs as the Fresno State Bulldogs invade Las Cruces to take on the NM State Aggies. Head Coach Pat Hill’s Bulldogs had themselves a bounce back season in ’07 after going (4-8) a season ago and missed out on going bowling for the first time in seven years. That won’t be the case this season, as last weeks win over K-State now has them at (7-4) on the year and a bowl game certainly looks to be on the horizon. The same can’t be said of New Mexico State who had aspirations of going bowling for the first time since 1960 before the season started. They got off to a nice start by winning two of their first three games, but it went all downhill from there. They’ve only been able to muster up two wins since September and because of it will miss out on the post-season festivities once again.
