Trends don’t like Duke on Wednesday
WINSTON-SALEM, (The Spread) – No. 2 Duke might be a massive favorite tonight versus Wake Forest but the Blue Devils have struggled to cover in Winston-Salem.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, Duke is a 15.5-point road favorite tonight over Wake Forest, which is 6-4 at home this season and just one game above .500 on the year at 8-7.
But despite the Demon Deacons’ struggles with consistency this season, they have been a solid bet at home when they play the Blue Devils. They’re 5-1 against the spread in their last six games overall versus Duke and 5-1 against the number in their last five home games versus the Blue Devils.
The home team and underdog have had plenty of success in these games as well. The home team is an impressive 20-6 at the betting window in the last 26 games between these two teams while the underdog is 5-1 against the number in the last six meetings.
