Will the Panthers rebound in a revenge spot against the Devils? Can the Commanders hang with the Eagles on TNF? Read on for our four-leg, cross-sports parlay.
NHL Cross-Sports Parlay: Florida Panthers -140, 7:00 p.m. ET
The Panthers will host the Devils two nights after losing 4-1 to New Jersey in Sunrise, FL. The Panthers have not lost back-to-back games since falling 3-1 to the Senators on October 10 and 5-2 to the Sabres on October 12. That said, both of those losses came on the road. The Panthers have not lost back-to-back home games since April 21 and April 23 of last season. Those losses came to the Bruins in the Florida’s first-round playoff matchup.
I also don’t think this is a matchup problem. Even with the loss on Tuesday night, the Panthers are still 6-4 against the Devils in their last 10 meetings with New Jersey. In previous instances of the Panthers losing to the Devils, they rebounded the following game. Since their November 9, 2021 loss to the Devils, Florida is 3-0 versus New Jersey in the following meeting.
NBA Cross-Sports Parlay: Mavericks-Jazz Under 231.5
Oddsmakers continue to set the number for this matchup too high. These two teams just met October 28 in Dallas and the Mavs’ 110-102 victory didn’t come close to going over the 232-point total. In fact, the under cashed in the previous four meetings between these two teams. In all four instances, the loser didn’t score more than 105 points. In two of those four games, the loser failed to crack 100. In the previous 10 meetings between these two teams, the under is 8-2.
NFL Cross-Sports Parlay: Washington Commanders +3.5 (-105)
I’m not going to overthink tonight’s NFC East clash. The Commanders are in the midst of an excellent season. Have they benefitted somewhat from an easier schedule? Sure, but their 7-3 straight up and 7-2-1 ATS records speak for themselves. They’ve been in most games this season, save for their 37-20 loss to the Bucs in Tampa Week 1. That was Jayden Daniels’ first professional game. Since that point, the Commanders have rattled off wins in seven of their last nine games.
As for the Eagles, they’ve been perfect since their 33-16 loss in Tampa on September 29. They were a perfect 4-0 in October and have started September with back-to-back wins. That said, who have they beaten? The Browns, Giants, Jaguars and Dak-less Cowboys account for four of their wins during this current five-game winning streak. Their best win came in a 37-17 beatdown of the Bengals in Cincinnati three weeks ago, but Joe Burrow and Co. don’t have a winning record, either.
I like taking the points with an underdog that I feel can win outright.
CFB Cross-Sports Parlay: Tulsa Golden Hurricane over 23.5 Points
The Golden Hurricane are not what they have been in recent years offensively. That said, I’m playing the number tonight with their team total. Tulsa has only scored 24-plus points three times this season and two of those instances came in their first two games of the season.
That said, their opponent tonight, East Carolina, has been a generous defense on the road this season. The Pirates played their last two games at home, but they surrendered 45 points to Army in their last road game and 55 points to Charlotte in early October. In their four road games this season, ECU allowed at least 24 points on three occasions.
The previous meetings between these two teams also indicates that Tulsa should have a decent offensive night. The Golden Hurricane scored at least 24 points in four consecutive meetings with the Pirates. In the last 10 games between these two teams, Tulsa hit that 24-point threshold eight times.
Four-team, Cross-Sport Parlay Odds: +1041
