Key Trend: The Rams are just 1-6 against the spread in their last seven games at home, while the Dolphins are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games on the road. The total has also gone over in four of Miami’s last 6 games on the road and four of the last six games when playing St. Louis.
Key Stat: The Rams have been destroyed in every phase of the game this season. They’re allowing 162.4 yards per game on the ground, are only averaging 13.4 points per game while surrendering 31.3. Conversely, Miami is averaging 244.5 yards per game on the ground and racking up 21.5 points per game.
Game Outlook: We know the Lions just turned in a brutal performance on Thanksgiving Day and still remain winless, but we still believe the Rams are the worst team in football. They gave up weeks ago and will continue to get pounded week in an dweek out. We worry about the 8.5-point spread, but we think Chad Pennington and Ronnie Brown will have a great day and Miami should easily cover this one. We don’t believe in locks, but the Dolphins are as close to a lock as you can get.
