Malaysian Grand Prix Odds
SEPANG, Malaysia (TheSpread) – The 2011 Formula 1 Season returns to action this week with the running of the 2011 Malaysian Grand Prix.
Sebastian Vettel comes into the race as the favorite according to online sports book Sportsbook.com. Vettel has 5/6 odds to win. Other short odds to win are Lewis Hamilton (7/4), Mark Webber (2/1), and Fernando Alonso (5/2).
Vettel is the defending race champion and he also won the only other race this season. His victory last year was the first time he had placed inside the top 10 in Malaysia.
Hamilton finished second in the first race of the season. He has never won at Malaysia, but he has finished seventh or better each of the last four years.
Webber placed fifth in the season-opening race. He has never won at Malaysia, but he was the runner-up in 2010, which was his only top 5 at this track in nine career races.
Alonso won this event in 2005 and 2007. He finished fourth in the first F1 race of the year and he has three other top 5’s at Malaysia outside of his victories.
The Malaysian Grand Prix will take place Sunday, April 10 from the Sepang International Circuit at 4AM ET. For complete odds and track information on this year’s event, see below.
