Hamilton is a three-time winner of this race, last taking the title in 2015. Hamilton is seven points out of first place in the standings. Hamilton is coming off a win last week in the Belgian Grand Prix, his fifth win of the year.
Vettel also has been a three-time winner, last claiming the championship in 2013. Vettel is the points leader right now with 220 points. He is coming off a runner-up finish in the Belgian Grand Prix. It was his fifth runner-up finish this year. Vettel also has four wins in 2017.
Bottas sits third in the point standings, 41 points out of first place. He has yet to win this race, finishing sixth last year and fourth in 2015. Bottas has one win this year with three runner-up finishes.
