German Grand Prix Picks
The Formula 1 Series returns to action early on Sunday for the German Grand Prix. Here is a look at the odds to win this race.
The German Grand Prix takes place on today at 8AM ET from Hockenheimring. The race is a 190-mile contest that will run 67 laps around the track. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Lewis Hamilton is the favorite on Sunday, as he has -120 to win. Other short odds are Nico Rosberg (+150) and Sebastian Vettel (+900).
Lewis Hamilton is on a roll right now. He has won five of the last six F1 races to take back control of the series points lead. He also won this race in 2011 and 2008. He should be battling with Rosberg for the victory again on Sunday.
Nico Rosberg really needs the win on Sunday to get back on top of Hamilton in the standings. After a hot start, winning four races early on, he has just one win in his last seven races. He is the defending champion at the track of his home country, though, so he could find a way to pass Hamilton on Sunday.
This track is also the home for Sebastian Vettel, who is still the likely winner if Hamilton and Rosberg come up short. He won this race in 2013 and has been second in three different races in 2016. Look for him to keep close to the leaders and pounce if they make a mistake.
