Malaysian Grand Prix Picks
The Formula 1 Series puts on the Malaysian Grand Prix early Sunday morning. Here are some drivers we like to contend for the victory.
The Malaysian Grand Prix takes place on Sunday at 3AM ET from Sepang International Circuit. The race is a 192-mile contest that will run 56 laps around the track. According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Lewis Hamilton is favored to win this race, as he has +100 odds to prevail. The other favorites at Nico Rosberg (+140) and Daniel Ricciardo (+900).
Lewis Hamilton hasn’t won the last three F1 races, which has put him second in the standings. He now needs to get back on track with a win on Sunday. Hamilton has been the long-time champion of the series and is a former winner of this race. He is the one to beat on Sunday.
Nico Rosberg has really gotten on a hot streak, winning the last three races to get back on top of the standings. While I don’t see him finishing things out with wins, he should be able to battle with Hamilton and jump on the win if his rival slips up.
Sebastian Vettel has +1000 odds to win. He has the best history at this track, even better than Hamilton. He is a four-time winner of this event and the defending champion. His time with Ferrari hasn’t been great, but last year’s win was a highlight for him. He is seeking his first win this year, but usually in the mix to win regardless. Look for him to have a strong run on a track he has been solid at.
