Singapore Grand Prix Picks
The Formula 1 Series is back in full swing Sunday morning with the Singapore Grand Prix. Here are our picks for the winner.
The Singapore Grand Prix takes place on Sunday at 8AM ET from Marina Bay Street Circuit. The race is a 191-mile contest that will run 61 laps around the track. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Lewis Hamilton is the favorite to win this race, as he has +130 odds to prevail. Other short odds to win are Nico Rosberg (+275) and Daniel Ricciardo (+333).
Bet on the Singapore Grand Prix
Lewis Hamilton is the favorite and the current F1 points leader thanks to six wins on the year. He is a two-time winner of this very race and he has finished in the top 3 in six straight races. He will certainly be near the front at the end and likely be the one to beat.
Nico Rosberg is doing his best to keep pace with Hamilton. He sits second in the standings right now, but has the edge in total wins for 2016 with seven. He has yet to win this race in his career, but that could just provide more motivation for him to find a way past Hamilton on Sunday.
Sebastian Vettel has +750 odds to win on Sunday, but we think he is a strong contender outside of the top two. He is a four-time winner of this race and the defending champion. He finished second in 2014 as well. While he doesn’t have a win this year, Vettel has nine top-5 finishes and should be near the front of the pack again this year. If Hamilton and Rosberg slip up, Vettel can be the one to capitalize.
