Brazilian Grand Prix Picks
The Formula 1 Series will host the Brazilian Grand Prix on Sunday morning. Here are some of the drivers we like to win this race.
The Brazilian Grand Prix takes place today at 11AM ET from Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The race is a 190-mile contest that will run 71 laps around the track. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Lewis Hamilton is the favorite this weekend. He is getting -111 odds to win. Other short odds to win are Sebastian Vettel (+300) and Max Verstappen (+333).
Bet on the Brazilian Grand Prix
Lewis Hamilton has the series championship locked up, but I don’t see that slowing him down today. Hamilton is the defending champion of this race and he is going to want to finish his championship season in style. He has a total of nine wins on the year and has only finished outside the top 2 in six races in 2017. Expect Hamilton to be the man to beat again.
Sebastian Vettel can’t win the championship, but he can still pick up a fifth win on the season and a third Brazilian Grand Prix. This track has been one of his better ones and he has finished in the top 4 the last two races after a bit of a slump prior. I expect Vettel to continue his positive trend today and perhaps sneak past Hamilton for the win.
If Hamilton or Vettel isn’t going to win, it seems like Max Verstappen will. He has been the hottest driver in the series over the last four races, picking up two wins and a runner-up finish. The 2017 season won’t be one of his best, but he is clearly building momentum for a run in 2018. Verstappen was third in this race a year ago, so he should be comfortable being aggressive today.
