Mexican Grand Prix Picks

The Formula 1 Series waves the green flag on the Mexican Grand Prix later today. Here are some drivers we like to contend for the victory today.

The Mexican Grand Prix takes place today at 2PM ET from Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City, Mexico. The race is a 190-mile contest that will run 71 laps around the track. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Lewis Hamilton is the clear favorite to win, as he has -137 odds. Other short odds to win are Sebastian Vettel (+250) and Max Verstappen (+450).

Bet on the Mexican Grand Prix

Lewis Hamilton is always the man to beat when in the F1 series. He has a total of nine wins this year, including two straight and five of the last six. Hamilton has also finished second in three others races. While Hamilton has a big lead in the series, he still can’t be too cautious. As the defending champion of this race, it’s hard to see anyone besting him today.

Max Verstappen has been on a nice run lately, finishing in the top 4 in his last three races after having a lackluster 2017 prior to that. He also has picked up a win during this recent stretch to push him up the F1 standings. Now Verstappen comes to a track where he placed fourth a year ago. I think he continues his strong string of finishes today, especially at a track where he should have some confidence.

Valtteri Bottas has +1000 odds for today’s race but I think those are great odds for him. He has placed in the top 5 in all but two races this year, which includes a pair of victories. With Vettel struggling in recent months, Bottas is making a push for second in the final season standings. To do that, he needs to continue to push for podiums and I think he will today. He was eighth at this track a year ago with a lesser team. His performance should be even better this year.
