Singapore Grand Prix Picks

The Formula 1 Series will wave the green flag on the Singapore Grand Prix on Sunday morning. Here’s our predictions for what drivers will come away with the win.

The Singapore Grand Prix takes place Sunday at 8AM ET from Marina Bay Street Circuit. The race is a 192-mile contest that will run 61 laps around the track. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Sebastian Vettel is the slight favorite this week, as he has +130 odds. Other short odds to win are Lewis Hamilton (+162), Daniel Ricciardo (+700) and Max Verstappen (+700).

Bet on the Singapore Grand Prix

Sebastian Vettel is a four-time winner of this race and in need of a victory after falling out of the points lead in the last race. Vettel has four wins this year, but has grabbed just one victory over the last seven races. He has finished second five different times, so he always finds himself right in the mix. The key will be for him to pass Hamilton.

Lewis Hamilton seems to be the one to beat on Sunday. Hamilton has already won this race twice in his lifetime. He has won three of the last four F1 races to get back atop the point standings. Hamilton now has a total of six wins this year with two runner-up finishes. Hamilton is a driver that knows how to finish off a championship season, so look for him to remain aggressive on Sunday.

Valtteri Bottas has +750 odds to win on Sunday and those are very good odds for the third-place driver in the standings. Bottas is the only driver other than Hamilton and Vettel to win multiple races in 2017. He also has finished second in four other races and third in three others. While the Singapore Grand Prix hasn’t been his best track, things have changed for him this year with a new team.
