Frammento Belmont Stakes Odds
ELMONT, NY (The Spread) – One of the true long shots to win the 2015 Belmont Stakes on Saturday is Frammento, who didn’t show well in the Kentucky Derby.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Frammento is currently a 40/1 long shot to win the Belmont Stakes this weekend. Only The Truth Or Else has worse odds at 50/1, while American Pharoah is 5/6 to win the Belmont and thus, the first Triple Crown since 1978 (Affirmed).
Frammento had a rough showing in the Kentucky Derby on May 2, finishing 11th behind American Pharoah, Firing Line, Dortmund and others. He also finished fourth in the Grade 1 Blue Grass Stakes and hasn’t placed in the money since a third-place showing in the Grade 2 Fountain of Youth on February 21.
Frammento’s only victory came in a MSW on October 4 of last year. In four career graded stakes races, he’s best finish came in the Fountain of Youth when he placed third behind Itsaknockout and Upstart.
