Limerick has won the League of Ireland title twice, with those victories coming in the 1959-60 and 1979-80 seasons. They’ve also won the FAI Cup twice (1971 and 1982), as well as the League of Ireland Cup three times (1976-77, 1992-93, and 2001-02).
Of course, Kerry is regarded as the most successful team in the history of Gaelic football. It has won the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship on 36 separate occasions, as well as the National Football League (Ireland) 19 times.
The Gaelic games are played in Ireland, with the two main events being Gaelic football and hurling.
