This includes setting max betting limits on the four chalk teams:

They’ll especially set max betting limits on any team offering double-digit odds or higher. For example, the L.A. Chargers at +1600 and the San Francisco 49ers at +2500.
Pre-NFL Training Camp Odds Are Much Different Than Last Season
Since Patrick Mahomes shocked the league, winning the MVP in his first year as Kansas City’s starting quarterback, the Chiefs are getting the benefit of the doubt even though they will most likely cut Tyreek Hill.
Hill’s in trouble due to a recently surfaced audio recording where he discusses physically abusing his child.
If the league was quick to suspend Adrian Peterson for what they perceived to be child abuse, they will most definitely suspend Hill. The Chiefs used their first pick in the draft on a wide receiver last week.
Right now, the thought of playing without Hill hasn’t deterred oddsmakers from making KC a 6/1 favorite. The odds could change dramatically in the next couple of weeks.
No way they go up to +2200, which is where the Chiefs were at this time last season.
The same goes for the Patriots, who before the draft were +550 favorites and now after the draft are +600 co-choices.
The reason? It’s hard to say. New England had an excellent draft. There’s a good chance they get two to three starters out of the draft, including Round 3 pick Yodny Cajuste.
Most bookie agents understand this. They’ll have already set max betting limits on the champs. Last year, the Patriots were around +350.
There’s a possibility they’re better this year than last year if they can replace tight-end Rob Gronkowski.
Some Bookies Might Not Put the Following Teams on their Super Bowl Futures Board
Some bookies could decide to just take the following teams off the board:

The Broncos, Jets, and Raiders offer +8000 odds. The Bills, Bengals, Lions, Giants, Bucs, Titans, and Redskins offer +10000 odds while the Cardinals and Dolphins offer +20000 odds.
Those kinds of odds could cripple an individual bookies’ business. There’s no way most online bookies will accept wagers at those odds.
Bookies Might Change Odds on Super Bowl Underdogs
Current odds don’t truly reflect each team’s chances of winning the Super Bowl.
The Bills, Titans, and Redskins have a much better chance than 100/1. The Dolphins could surprise because they just acquired former Cardinals’ starting quarterback Josh Rosen while Oakland and Denver might also challenge for the playoffs.
The Jaguars at +6000 are a major overlay. Right now, the Super Bowl odds are all over the place. NFL Super Bowl future bettors should take advantage right away.
