Can Icabad Crane improve upon his strong showing at the 2008 Preakness Stakes and possibly become an upset special on Saturday at the Belmont Stakes? Oddsmakers aren’t ruling it out.
Icabad Crane opened at 30/1 odds to win the 2008 Belmont Stakes according oddsmakers at online sportsbook Bodog when they were released a couple weeks ago. As we count down the final hours to post time he is currently listed at 20/1.

Bet on the 140th Belmont Stakes
Icabad Crane won the Federico Tesio and had a third place finish at the Preakness Stakes, so it’s not entirely impossible that he has a top three showing at the 2008 Belmont Stakes. Still though, with how heavily favored Big Brown is, it’s going to take a tremendous effort from Icabad Crane to pull off the upset. At 20/1 odds to win, oddsmakers are only mildly entertaining an upset.
