According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Kanaan is listed at 13/2 to win Sunday’s Indy 500. Scott Dixon is the favorite with 9/2 odd while Simon Pagenaud and Will Power each have 11/2 odds. This race will take place on Sunday at Noon ET from Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Kanaan is driving in his 14th Indianapolis 500 this Sunday. Kanaan is a former winner of the event, as he claimed the 2013 championship. He also has five other top-5 finishes at Indy in his career. Kanaan has been a strong qualifier as well. He started in the top 5 in the first six Indy 500’s he competed in. This year, he has qualified fourth.
Kanaan is currently fifth in the IndyCar point standings. He has 136 points on the season. Thus far in 2015, he has two top 5s and four top 10s but is seeking his first win. Kanaan has just two wins in his last five seasons, but one of them is at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
